You must understand that my photography comes from the ordinary participation of life. I’ve absolutely no idea what I’m going to get when I go into a session. But I feel no anxiety — only the excitement at the kind of surprises that await. Cordelia and Chris were kind enough to commission my first venture into Kyoto. I’ve seen and heard so much about this place but now I’d like to leave my mark in the way I participate in the experience of this fabled location.
