Greetings, I’m Hazicky. I meet people in some of the most beautiful parts of the world to capture their quiet and precious memories. The photography that I love comes from the page of ordinary life because of how personal they are. My sessions titled, “Ordinary People in Extraordinary Places” are exactly that — a chance to spend time with regular people in an unfamiliar place so we will always have this bond that ties us together.
It’s a chance to make beautiful memories
If you’re approaching this as a photoshoot, then I’m not the right fit for you. My work is personal, not commercial.
I want to know you, hear your life stories, and draw inspiration from the ordinary version of you — Many years from now, I want you to be able to look back at these pictures and say, “That was really me. That was a special memory.”
You don’t need a special reason to do this
My approach is inspired by the essence of my life — specifically these days, in the way I look at my beloved wife. I’ve taken so many ordinary photographs of her over the years that they’ve now become evidence of our life together. And I want to create that for someone. You don’t need a reason like a pre-wedding or elopement to do this.
Your trust gives me the freedom to be inspired
Everything you see comes from a place where I was allowed to curate the experience. I’ll come up with a rough plan and places we might visit. I’ll guide you through your outfit. But to be frank, I’m just looking forward to enjoying my time with you so I can create my best work.
I want you to embrace your ordinary self
My photographs depict regular people in their ordinary state. If you’re joining me, you’re doing away with fancy gowns and elaborate make-up. Pick something you’d normally wear and create a look that represents who you are. These are things that make our memories real.
Be open to surprises and it’ll be special
A lot of my favourite photographs come from places we discover by accident. There’s an art to getting lost that I want to show you. It’s in the quiet corners where we can enjoy each other’s company, not in the popular tourist spots.
It’s open to everyone, not just couples
Couples are what you mostly see now because I was heavily involved in the wedding industry. But now I’m looking to create things that are more personal — I’m looking for besties, friends, siblings, parents, even families. Between us is a space where I want to show you the beautiful parts of your true self.
