A year before this session, I was in this forest alone, and it was there when I found out that my grandmother had just passed. I can’t describe how painful it was to be at such a beautiful place knowing someone who helped raise me had gone. But I vowed to come back again so I can produce some of my finest work. There’s an art to getting lost. It makes way for beautiful things that lie beyond expectation. The gift of the unexpected is what makes the quality of a special and profound memory.
